Standing on a dark pier over the water in South Lake Tahoe, California not knowing what's around you sitting in the shadows. With a little steel wool, battery, whisk, and a camera we were able to create a night photo that came to life when the 15 second long exposure was completed!

Standing upon a ridge where you can see over the basin of South Lake Tahoe, Ca and the alpine lake, Echo Lake is a surreal scene. This image is composed of 6 vertical images that were stitched together in post. Seeing the final product was a shot to be content with, I found to be drawn to the symmetrical aspect of the photo and the high altitude climate on the left side vs a lower climate on the right.
